University Departments are considered all University of Chicago academic and non-academic departments and non-student groups. The Student Centers welcome University business into our venues, but place special priority on departmental events that center the student experience or are intended for a student audience.

Making a Reservation
To reserve space in the Student Centers follow our 4-step reservation process below:
- Browse our Event Spaces
- Browse our Event Services and Room Setups
- Request an event space using our online scheduler, EMS.
- Wait for your confirmation emailed from our scheduling office.
Depending on the nature of your event, other important policies may apply.
